What a morning!

Ahh, finished Derek Landy's "The Faceless Ones." One of his Skulduggery Pleasant tales. A fun Young Adult fiction read with a cliffhanger ending. Love the interaction between Skulduggery and Valkyrie, and their interactions with everyone else. Even necromancers weave in and out at their whim.

To add to the pinnacle moment of finishing off Derek's book, I heard some golden words that every father longs to hear from one of his children, "You were right, Dad." Doesn't really matter what I was right about, doesn't even matter if I was, it's enough to hear those words from my daughter. Almost as nourishing to a dad's soul as "I love you." What a morning.
